Scholarships

NPW offers two $1,000 scholarships annually for graduating high school seniors and college students with junior, senior or graduate standing. Students of any gender are welcome to apply.

Graduating Nebraska high school seniors may apply for the $1,000 Marianne Beel Scholarship, named in honor of a longtime Nebraska journalist with a passion for writing about the state. The scholarship is open to high school seniors planning to seek a post-secondary education in a communications-related field. Click the link for more information on how to apply.

Collegiate juniors, seniors and graduate students, enrolled full time at a Nebraska college or university, may apply for the $1,000 NPW Memorial Scholarship aimed at helping them complete their post-secondary education. Click the link for more information on how to apply.
